OUR PROGRAMS
Philosophy of Our Program
Our philosophy here at Beautiful Beginning Child Care is based on the following beliefs:
- Each child is unique with his/her own specific needs and should be provided with an environment which promotes intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development to the fullest extent possible.
- Each child is wonderfully individualized and is to be treated with esteem and respect at all times by teachers and by their peers. With this respect comes a nurturing and caring environment that allows your child to grow and mature.
- Learning occurs through interacting with people and objects in their environment. More simply, children learn through doing. Beautiful Beginnings Child Care encourages hands-on experiences through play, games, physical activities, and multitude of educational stimuli.
- Play is the work of children. Play enhances intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development. Problem-solving skills are developed through play because children are able to explore alternatives which gives them the opportunity to learn what works. And play activities, children also have the opportunities for communication, help and sharing with others, and for refining in developing gross and fine motor skills.
